Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse Denver, CO. This role involves performing independent nursing functions and delegated medical tasks in accordance with state Board of Nursing standards. The position requires assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care, along with providing health education and counseling. The ER Nurse will execute delegated medical functions, review treatment plans, and document in compliance with regulatory guidelines. Flexibility to float to other departments based on operational needs and potential on-call responsibilities may be required.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: ASN (Associate of Science in Nursing) from an accredited School of Nursing; current Registered Nurse license in the state of practice; BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association; experience in emergency or acute care setting preferred
  • Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree of Nursing; ACLS, PALS, or NRP certifications as appropriate for the emergency care setting; prior ER or critical care experience preferred
  • Additional Information: The candidate must demonstrate excellent clinical documentation skills, resource utilization, and the ability to perform health data assessments, health counseling, therapy, and treatment planning. The role may involve executing medical functions, monitoring treatment plans, and referring patients for further evaluation when necessary.
