Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) Emergency Room Rocky Mount, North Carolina. This role involves providing professional nursing care to patients in the emergency department at an acute care facility. The position requires a clinically competent practitioner capable of working independently with minimal guidance, following established standards of care, and practicing within the scope of the North Carolina Nursing Practice Act.

Job Details

  • Location: Rocky Mount, North Carolina
  • Schedule: Evenings shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Graduate of an approved nursing program; current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina (or compact state); current AHA Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification; current AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification; current AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification; current NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS); 1 year of RN experience.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Epic experience; experience caring for COVID-19 patients.
  • Additional Information: Candidates primary residence must be greater than or equal to 50 miles from the facility.
  • Position Notes: The RN will be responsible for delivering nursing care to the general patient population in the emergency department, adhering to all safety and clinical protocols.
