Opportunity:

RN - ER

Job Details:

• Work in 101-bed emergency department with 4:1 patient ratios for medical patients, up to 7:1 for behavioral holds
• Every other weekend scheduling requirement with flexible scheduling to meet department needs
• No floating outside of ED but must be available to work in all sections within the emergency department
• Minimum 2 years nursing experience with at least 1 year in emergency room setting required
• Level 2 trauma center and comprehensive stroke center experience preferred
• Must have teamwork mentality and ability to provide real-time coaching and feedback
• Required to read telemetry monitors and pass telemetry exam
• Required certifications before start date: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS
• ENPC certification required within 90 days of hire
• Navy scrubs uniform required
• Work with Baxter pumps, GE monitors, and Cerner documentation system
• Follow AIDET protocols and maintain respectful patient experience standards
• Keep patient boards updated throughout patient visits
• Support for over 120 languages spoken in the community
