Key Responsibilities of the Emergency Room Registered Nurse
  • Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies and procedures
  • Assess and triage patients based on medical urgency
  • Monitor patient vitals and maintain accurate health records
  • Collaborate effectively with the care team to achieve optimal patient outcomes
  • Support patient and family education for continued care post-discharge

Requirements of the Emergency Room Registered Nurse
  • Valid nursing license
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS certifications before starting
  • 2 years of experience as a nurse with at least 1-year experience in an ER setting
  • Ability to read telemetry monitors and pass the tele exam
  • Flexibility to work in all areas of the ED
