**Exciting Opportunity for a Travel RN in the Emergency Department!** **Job Description:** - **Unit Overview:** - 18 Beds in the Emergency Room - Team of 14 skilled staff members - Patient Ratios: Varies based on acuity, typically 4:1 - **Staffing Details:** - Day Shift: 2 RNs on 7a - Night Shift: 2 RNs on 7p - Mid Shifts: Occasional support throughout the week - **Essential Qualifications:** - Minimum 1 year of current acute care Emergency Department RN experience - Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH, PALS, TNCC & ENPC - **Preferred Qualifications:** - Experience in a large hospital setting - Familiarity with Meditech EMR system - **Typical Procedures:** - IV placements - EKGs - Foley catheter insertions - Splint applications - Wound infiltration and care - Medication administration and patient assessments - **Ideal Candidate Profile:** - Positive attitude with a strong teamwork orientation - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining calm - **Unit Highlights:** - Recently converted from a freestanding Emergency Department to a hospital-based unit - Enhanced resources available: respiratory therapy, house supervisor support, on-site lab and radiology services including CT, MRI, Echo, X-ray, and Ultrasound **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
