Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring an active GA or compact RN license, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications, with night shift scheduling and every-other-weekend requirements.

Details

  • Hospital-based Emergency Department setting in Decatur, GA
  • Night shift schedule, 7PM–7AM (12-hour shifts)
  • Every other weekend required
  • Floating required to the Clinical Decision Unit as needed
  • 13-week contract

Requirements

  • Active Georgia or compact RN license currently in hand
  • Current certifications required: ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS
  • Minimum 18 months of RN experience required
  • Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible

Additional Information

  • Former Emory or Houston permanent staff must have been separated from the health system for at least 1 year before returning; if returning to the same facility, a minimum 18-month separation is required
  • RTO is limited to a maximum of 5 days if not falling on or near a holiday, or 3 days if it falls on or near a holiday
  • Only one holiday RTO request will be approved per contract; RTO must be spread out and will not be approved for consecutive holiday-adjacent days
  • Full SSN and DOB are required for consideration
