Job Requirements

• Active Illinois RN license or confirmation that the application process has been initiated
• BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC, and TNCC or TNS required
• At least 1 year of emergency nursing, ER nursing, or acute care nursing experience required
• 2+ years of nursing experience preferred
• Prior travel RN or travel nurse experience preferred
• Ability to interpret cardiac rhythms and recognize life-threatening changes
• Comfort working with vasopressor and cardiac drip titration
• Must be able to pass required drug screening

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to patients of all ages and acuity levels
• Assess, stabilize, and monitor patients with strokes, heart attacks, trauma, and critical illness
• Manage and titrate a variety of drips, including vasopressors and cardiac medications
• Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, ED techs, and respiratory therapy staff
• Respond to rapidly changing patient conditions and support trauma care when needed
• Draw labs, support triage flow, and help maintain safe patient throughput
• Float as a support resource when needed and function as a team player in a dynamic Emergency Department environment
