Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for an Emergency Department position requiring a minimum of 2 years of ED experience and prior travel nursing experience, working night shifts on a 13-week contract.

Details

  • Emergency Department setting
  • Night shift hours: 18:00–06:30
  • 13-week contract
  • Every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH) rotation required
  • May care for boarded patients within the ED
  • Epic EMR utilized
  • Floating may be required within skill set, both onsite and to sites within 40 miles

Requirements

  • Active WI or compact RN license required
  • Current certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA)
  • TNCC certification required (renewed every 4 years)
  • NIH Stroke Scale certification required
  • Minimum 2 years of ED experience required
  • Prior travel nursing experience required
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
  • Two professional references required
  • Copy of Driver's License required for consideration
  • Full SSN and full DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

  • MOAB (Management of Assaultive Behavior) certification is optional but recommended; online resources are available for obtaining it
  • Local candidates are eligible to apply, though travel pay rates may differ based on proximity to the facility
  • Nursys license verification and primary source license verification must be completed within 30 days prior to assignment start
