Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
• At least 1 year of recent Emergency Room experience
• Experience in a Level II trauma center or comparable high-acuity setting preferred
• Comfort working in all areas of the Emergency Department and adapting to changing patient needs
• Strong teamwork mindset with the ability to coach and communicate effectively in real time
• Required certifications before start date: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, and NIHSS
• ENPC required within 90 days of hire
• Reliable, patient-focused, and able to thrive in a dynamic clinical environment

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in a busy Emergency Department
• Assess, monitor, and treat patients across a wide range of emergency conditions
• Support patient flow while maintaining safety, efficiency, and compassionate care
• Collaborate closely with physicians, techs, clerks, and fellow nurses to deliver seamless care
• Work flexibly across all areas of the ED as needed
• Use strong communication and patient experience practices, including AIDET and frequent patient updates
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow unit guidelines and clinical protocols
• Contribute to a positive, team-oriented environment that supports excellent outcomes
