Job Details

- Location: Dallas
- Contract Length: 13 Weeks
- Shift: Night Shift
- Schedule: 3x12
- Experience Required: 2 Years
- Weekly Pay: $1800 to $2000
Responsibilities
- Perform routine, continuous, and ambulatory EEG studies according to physician orders and facility protocols
- Prepare patients for EEG procedures and explain testing processes to ensure comfort and cooperation
- Apply scalp electrodes using proper measurement and placement techniques
- Monitor and record brain wave activity while identifying abnormalities and significant clinical events
- Perform long-term video EEG monitoring and assist with seizure monitoring procedures as needed
- Maintain accurate patient records and neurodiagnostic documentation
- Troubleshoot and maintain EEG equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Collaborate with neurologists, physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Adhere to infection prevention, patient safety, and quality assurance standards
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered care throughout diagnostic procedures
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Neurodiagnostic Technology or related program preferred
- Minimum 2 years of recent EEG Technologist experience
- Current BLS Certification required
- Registered EEG Technologist (R. EEG T.) credential required
- Experience with continuous EEG (cEEG) and video EEG monitoring preferred
- Strong knowledge of neuroanatomy, neurophysiology, and EEG procedures
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Strong attention to detail and critical thinking abilities
