Sonographer – Echo (Days)

Contract | Days | Full-Time | Onsite

• Perform echocardiography scans as part of an interdisciplinary care team, with an expected volume of approximately 7–8 scans per day
• Contribute professional and clinical knowledge in the provision and management of patient care
• Utilize the Epic EMR system to document and manage patient information
• May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses
• Work 1–2 summer holidays as assigned (Memorial Day, Independence Day, or Labor Day)

• Minimum of 2 years of recent Cardiovascular & Vascular Sonographer experience, with 24 months reflected in work history
• At least 1 completed travel contract
• Epic EMR experience required
• Active Iowa license at time of submission
• RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) certification required
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) required
• Certification from ARDMS or CCI required; RVT certification required

• RCS credential accepted in addition to RDCS
• Professional reference or performance evaluation from a charge nurse, supervisor, nurse manager, director, CNO, or COO within the past 24 months
