Position: Echocardiography Technologist (Echo) $$SN$$
Location: Glens Falls, New York
Shift: Days – 8-hour shifts (Mon–Fri, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM or 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM)
Duration: 13 Weeks
Job Duties
• Perform echocardiography (cardiac ultrasound) procedures to assist in diagnosis and evaluation of cardiac conditions.
• Acquire high-quality cardiac imaging for interpretation by cardiologists.
• Ensure proper patient preparation, positioning, and explanation of procedures.
• Operate ultrasound equipment and adjust settings to optimize image quality.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR (Cerner system).
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations, ensuring safe and effective imaging practices.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to support diagnostic and treatment planning.
• Follow hospital protocols, safety standards, and accreditation guidelines for echocardiography services.
