Job Details

  • Contract Length: 13 Weeks
  • Shift: Day Shift
  • Schedule: 5x8
  • Experience Required: 2 Years
  • Weekly Pay: $2000 to $2170
Responsibilities
  • Perform transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE) and other cardiac ultrasound procedures according to physician orders and facility protocols
  • Obtain high-quality diagnostic images for interpretation by cardiologists
  • Prepare and position patients for echocardiography procedures while ensuring comfort and safety
  • Operate and maintain echocardiography equipment and ensure image quality standards
  • Recognize and report significant findings to the appropriate healthcare team members
  • Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
  • Educate patients regarding procedures and answer questions to ease concerns
  • Adhere to infection prevention, patient safety, and quality assurance standards
  • Collaborate with cardiologists, physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
  • Assist with stress echocardiograms and other specialized cardiac procedures as required
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Cardiovascular Technology program
  • Active RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) or RCS (Registered Cardiac Sonographer) credential preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of recent Echo Technologist experience
  • Current BLS Certification required
  • Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and echocardiography procedures
  • Experience performing adult echocardiograms and stress echoes preferred
  • Excellent communication and patient care skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced cardiovascular environment
  • Commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care
