Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Director of Nursing (DON) to provide interim leadership within a skilled nursing facility. This role is responsible for overseeing nursing operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, supporting clinical staff, and maintaining exceptional standards of patient care.
The Director of Nursing will work closely with interdisciplinary teams to promote quality outcomes, strengthen nursing operations, and foster a culture of clinical excellence and patient safety.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily nursing operations and clinical workflows
Supervise, mentor, and evaluate nursing staff
Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations
Develop and implement nursing policies and clinical standards
Lead quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives
Coordinate staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
Promote patient safety and continuous quality improvement
Requirements
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Hampshire
Leadership experience in nursing management or as a Director of Nursing
State-issued identification required
