Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Dialysis – Pocatello, ID 83201

Start Date: August 24, 2026

Location: Pocatello, Idaho

Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM, plus on-call coverage. Patient ratio of 2:1 during days, 1:1 during nights and weekends. Orientation includes 24 hours of training.

Highlights:

  • Work at a Level II trauma, 200-bed facility with Comprehensive Stroke and Chest Pain accreditation
  • Provide hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis to inpatients in the dialysis department and at bedside in other units
  • Utilize Tablo dialysis machines for hemodialysis and SLEDD procedures, and Baxter Claria Homechoice for peritoneal dialysis
  • Collaborate with ICU nurses to support and troubleshoot SLEDD machines
  • Care for diverse patient populations including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
  • Access comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of dialysis nursing experience required
  • Current RN license (state or compact license must be active at time of application)
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Experience with AV fistula and graft cannulation, acute care inpatient dialysis, and peritoneal dialysis preferred
  • Epic charting system experience preferred
  • Must reside outside a 100-mile radius from the facility
  • First-time travelers accepted
