Lumbee Group is seeking a travel Dental Assistant for a travel job in Sisseton, South Dakota.

Certified Dental Assistant 

Position in bidding process 

Location:  IHS , Sisseton, SD  

Shift: 8:00 A.M. – 4:30 P.M. Monday through Friday except Federal holidays 

Contract Length: One year with option to extend 

Compensation: 

  • Regular Pay Rate: $35/hour
  • Weekly Stipend for travelers: $1,246 (for housing & meals)
  • Please keep in mind that payroll is processed on a biweekly basis. 

Benefits:  

  • Health and Welfare: $5.09/hr (Up to 40 hours worked per week)
  • PTO: 5 days after 6 months, an additional 5 days at 1 year of service
  • Accrued sick days: 1 hour for every 36 hours worked
  • 11 Paid Holidays: Following the Government calendar throughout the year 

 

Job Description:  

Provide clinical and administrative support while preparing treatment areas, assisting with patient care, maintaining equipment and records, and helping ensure efficient daily operations. 

 

Requirements:  

• Graduate of an accredited Dental Assisting program (preferred) 

• Current certification (if required by state) 

• (BLS) certification 

• At least one (1) year of clinical experience 

 

Responsibilities:  

• Assist dentists during procedures 

• Prepare and sterilize instruments 

• Take dental radiographs (as authorized) 

• Maintain infection control protocols 

• Charting and documentation in EHR 

• Patient preparation and education
