Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in cardiovascular operating room procedures such as total joints, general surgery, spine, uro, and open heart cases.
  • Ensure patient safety and adherence to facility protocols during surgical operations.
  • Coordinate with a team of specialty leads and house supervisors to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Participate in on-call rotations up to 50% of the time, including nights and weekends.
  • Utilize the Cerner EMR system for accurate documentation of patient care and surgical procedures.
  • Provide assistance in auxiliary departments when required, ensuring efficient hospital operations.

Qualifications

  • Current ACLS and BLS certifications required.
  • Minimum of 1 year full-time experience in an acute surgery setting.
  • Proven ability to work in both OR and CVOR environments.
  • Experience with Cerner electronic medical records system.
  • Availability for 30-minute response time for on-call duties.
  • Ability to contribute effectively in a team-oriented environment.
