Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular Progressive Care Unit (CVPC) position in Asheville, NC, requiring at least 2 years of experience and an active NC or compact RN license.

Details

  • Works in a Cardiovascular Progressive Care Unit (CVPC) within a hospital setting
  • Day shift: 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM
  • 13-week contract

Requirements

  • Active NC or compact RN license required
  • Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience in a cardiovascular or progressive care specialty
  • Current BLS certification required (AHA or ARC accepted)
  • Current ACLS certification required (AHA or ARC accepted)
  • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required for PCU/telemetry RNs
  • Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start date
  • US SSN and date of birth required for consideration
  • Professional references required (1 reference for most states; 2 references required for candidates from Florida or Missouri)
  • No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

  • Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible
  • This position is part of the HCA Healthcare system
