- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, 2 years of operating room experience including open heart surgery, BLS certification, and experience with EPIC charting system.
- Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience with cardiac surgical procedures and working in a short-term acute care setting.
- Float: Float to other units or facilities may be required based on patient care needs.
- Additional Information: Must have a vehicle for this assignment. Candidates are expected to work holiday shifts including Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day. All scheduling requests must be submitted during the application process. Candidates should be prepared to float between units and facilities as needed to meet operational needs.
- Patient Demographics: Adults in a cardiac surgical setting.
- Unit Support: Respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretary support available.
- Other Requirements: Must include references covering 1 year within the last 3 years. Refusal to float may result in contract termination. No call-in policies apply unless otherwise specified.
