Description
American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Cardiac Surgical ICU position requiring at least 2 years of Cardiac Surgical ICU experience and an active MA RN license.
Details
- Work in an 18-bed adult Cardiac Surgical Intensive Care Unit within a Heart & Vascular Institute
- Care for patients with a wide range of cardiovascular disease across all phases of illness
- Fast paced, highly acute unit delivering care via an interdisciplinary team
- 13-week assignment with 36 hours per week
- Rotating day/night shifts with every other weekend and every other holiday required
- Uses Epic for charting
Requirements
- Active MA RN license required; pending or conditional licenses not accepted
- Current BLS certification required (AHA preferred, Red Cross accepted at most locations)
- Minimum 2 years of Cardiac Surgical ICU experience required
- Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience required
- Primary source license verification required within 30 days of start and upon renewal
- Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions
Additional Information
- Deliver high-quality, research-based critical care to cardiac surgical patients as part of an interdisciplinary team
- Local candidates must reside within 60 miles of the facility and will be considered at a reduced rate
- Timekeeping is managed through UKG/Kronos
- Public parking is available near Boston-area locations at an additional daily cost
