**Join Our Team as a Travel RN in Cardiac PICU!** **Job Description:** - **Location:** Denver, CO - **Unit:** Pediatric Cardiac ICU - **Floor:** 3rd - **Number of Beds:** 10 - **Staffing:** 6 RNs collaborating with PICU staff **About the Unit:** - **Dynamic and Collaborative Environment:** Work alongside a highly experienced team averaging 10 years in cardiac and pediatric critical care. - **Patient Ratios:** 1:2 nurse-patient ratios for critical care, ensuring quality care and support. - **Advanced Equipment:** Utilize cutting-edge technology, such as Phillips monitors, Medfusion, and Baxter pumps, to provide top-tier care. **What We’re Looking For:** - **Must Have Skills:** - Over 2 years of Cardiac Critical Care experience - Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications - **Preferred Skills:** - Experience with peritoneal dialysis, CRRT, and ECMO at the bedside **Typical Procedures Performed:** - Post-operative care, including inotropic and vasopressor continuous infusions - IVF and chest tube management - Care of post-sternotomy/open chest patients - Moderate sedation **Ideal Candidate Personality Fit:** - Flexible and resourceful - Organized and an effective communicator **Why Join Us?** - **Engaging Work Environment:** Serve the congenital cardiac population in a supportive and innovative setting. - **Expert Interdisciplinary Team:** Collaborate with board-certified pediatric/congenital heart intensivists dedicated to high-quality, compassionate critical care. - **Diverse Resources:** Enjoy access to numerous resources due to the PICU’s structure and capacity. **Additional Benefits:** - Experience working with complex patients, utilizing equipment such as centrimag, prismax, and arctic sun. - Contribute to evidence-based practice and quality metrics. - Become an integral part of a dedicated team committed to supporting patients and their families through their congenital heart journey. **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
