**Join Our Dynamic CVICU Nursing Team!** **Job Description:** - **Unit Overview:** - Number of Beds: 16 - Patient Ratios: 1:2, 1:1 for certain device patients - Supportive staffing: Free floating charge nurse, unit secretary, and Administrative Care Tech available M-F - Student Nurse Externs assist with tech duties - **State-of-the-Art Equipment:** - Phillips bedside telemetry monitors - Hill-Rom beds - Alaris IV pumps - **Documentation and Scheduling:** - Documentation System: Meditech - Flexible scheduling: 2 weekends/month, 1 summer holiday (Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day), and 2 winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day) - **Floating Policy:** - C/L employees may float to other ICUs or floors as needed - **Patient Care Excellence:** - Provide care for post-operative cardiac surgery patients, including ECMO, Centrimags, and HM3 LVADS - Perform critical procedures: central line insertion, Swan insertion, intubations, etc. - **Required Skills and Certifications:** - Must have strong critical care and CVICU experience - Advanced skills in PA catheter and hemodynamic monitoring required - Preferred experience with IABP, Impella, and CRRT - Certifications: ACLS, BLS - **Dress Code:** - Required uniform: Scrubs in black, red, or galaxy blue, scrub jackets/vests only - **Recognitions and Awards:** - HCA Unit of Distinction Award Winner - Daisy Award Recipient - **Why Join Us?** - Join a high-performing team of dedicated nurses - Engage in high-volume and advanced cardiac surgeries - Work with full-time intensivists available 24/7 - Experience a collaborative environment that prioritizes teamwork **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
