  • Position: ICU Registered Nurse / Intensive Care Unit RN
  • Employment Type: Travel Nursing
  • Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,940 - $2,040
  • Location: Columbus, OH 43210
  • Start Date: 09/08/2026
  • Duration: 13 weeks
  • Shift: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30)
  • Hours Per Week: 36
  • Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend
  • Call: None
  • Patient Ratios: 1:1-2
  • Float Requirement: May float to other units within the organization as needed

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of ICU nursing experience
  • Valid compact or state RN license in hand at time of submission
  • BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
  • AHA certifications only
  • Epic charting experience required
  • Strong skill set in IV starts, telemetry, and ventilator management
  • Experience caring for adult critically ill cardiac patients preferred
  • Previous travel nursing experience is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality nursing care to adult ICU patients with complex cardiac and medical needs
  • Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition in a high-acuity intensive care setting
  • Manage ventilators, arterial lines, central lines, and hemodynamic monitoring equipment
  • Administer and titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips safely and effectively
  • Support patients receiving advanced therapies such as CRRT, IABP, Impella, and hypothermia protocol
  • Care for patients with diagnoses including ACS, acute MI, cardiogenic shock, heart failure, and post-procedure cardiac recovery
  • Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support safe, coordinated patient care
  • Document accurately in Epic and maintain strong communication with the care team
