Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a CVICU position requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience, night shift availability, and current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications.

Details

  • Position is in a Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) within a hospital setting
  • Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (18:45–07:15)
  • Every other weekend required
  • May float to MSICU, Neuro ICU, or Burn ICU as needed
  • 13-week contract

Requirements

  • Active RN license (Standard or Compact) currently in hand
  • Current certifications required: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
  • Minimum 2 years of CVICU or relevant ICU experience required
  • Epic charting experience preferred
  • Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
  • Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration

Additional Information

  • First-time travelers are welcome to apply
  • Travel pairs or groups will not be considered
  • Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 1 year before being eligible to return as a traveler
  • Navy scrubs required
  • No more than 3 days of RTO will be auto-approved, and no RTO is permitted during the first week of orientation
