Job Summary:
The CT Technologist position is based in Gordon, Nebraska. This role involves working in a healthcare environment where the technologist performs computed tomography (CT) scans and X-ray procedures. The position requires flexibility to work both X-ray and CT modalities during the same shift, providing clinical support in a busy imaging department.

Job Details:

  • Location: Gordon, Nebraska
  • Schedule: Rotating shift, 12 hours per day, with shifts starting at 7:00 AM and ending at 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday. The schedule aims for four 10-hour days to facilitate days off.
  • Required Qualifications: ARRT-R (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - Registered Radiologic Technologist), BLS (American Heart Association or ARC), at least 1 year of experience, valid license to submit, and ability to start IVs.
  • Preferred Qualifications: ARRT-CT certification, experience with CT scans, knowledge of various radiology equipment such as GE, Samsung, and Topaz.
  • Additional Duties: Perform approximately 15-20 scans/studies daily, including CT scans for strokes and angios, digital plain films, chest X-rays, and extremity imaging. Must be capable of performing IV starts.
  • Work Environment: Standard departmental equipment with a lead technician and radiology supervisor available for assistance. No RRA's are used. Support for emergency and trauma procedures is available via the intranet.
  • Call Requirements: One night of call per week from 5:30 PM to 7:00 AM the next day, with potential callbacks. Weekend call at least once per month from Friday 5:30 PM to Monday 7:00 AM, with potential callbacks.
  • Other Considerations: Scrubs are not provided but should be clean and professional; any color is acceptable. No specific trauma level is designated; the setting is acute care. The clinician may work both X-ray and CT in the same shift.
