Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with at least 1 year of experience across multiple care settings, including ED and ICU, for a night shift travel contract.

Details

  • Work settings include adult acute care, adult outpatient, emergency department, and Level I trauma center
  • Experience required across outpatient, inpatient, ED, and ICU environments; NICU and PICU exposure preferred
  • Patient population includes pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients; neonates and infants preferred
  • CT procedures include abdomen/pelvis with and without contrast, chest, head and neck, spine, and musculoskeletal imaging
  • Preferred special procedures include biopsies, aspirations, brain perfusion, CT arthrography, colonography, drainage, myelography, transplant studies, and vascular CTA
  • Equipment includes GE (preferred), Siemens (preferred), and PACS
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • 3x12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, Friday through Sunday
  • Travelers may be floated to any campus within the health system as needed

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience required
  • ARRT (CT) and BLS certifications required
  • Experience with PACS and contrast media administration required
  • Experience with IV starts preferred
  • Experience with pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations required
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; a current driver's license is required to verify address
  • 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
  • Copy of driver's license required for consideration
  • License required if applicable

  • First-time travelers are welcome to apply
  • Orientation includes non-billable compliance modules averaging 2–4 hours, completed during orientation
  • Any requested time off must be submitted with the initial application; no post-submission RTO will be accepted
  • Zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
  • Calcium scoring and cardiac CT experience preferred
