Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a diverse range of diagnostic, interventional, and/or surgical imaging procedures using specialized equipment and techniques in accordance with established scope of practice guidelines.
  • Prepare patients for procedures and correlate clinical history with physician-ordered procedures; communicate and collaborate with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary care team.
  • Conduct post-procedure reviews to confirm all required study elements are completed, documented, and meet technical quality standards consistent with department protocols and accreditation standards.
  • Transfer images and data to appropriate archival systems, enter technical findings, and prepare studies for physician reporting.
  • Perform operator-level quality control checks, equipment cleaning, high-level disinfection, and user maintenance per manufacturer and regulatory guidelines.
  • Provide instruction and mentorship to less experienced team members and assist with quality assurance and performance improvement tasks.
Required Qualifications
  • Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited program with emphasis in a primary cardiovascular specialty, or a JRCERT-accredited program with emphasis in a radiologic technology specialty.
  • Current CT credentials as required by the hiring department upon hire or advancement.
  • Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Core to intermediate-level knowledge of normal and abnormal anatomy and physiology, and radiologic/cardiovascular technology terminology.
  • Ability to perform, post-process, analyze, and annotate study data with limited direction and without immediate supervision.
  • Ability to prioritize and complete clinical and non-clinical assignments independently with limited direction.
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • One (1) year of full-time experience as a certified or registered cardiovascular or radiologic technology professional in the applicable specialty.
  • Associate's degree or higher in a related field.
