Key Responsibilities
- Operate CT scan and X-ray equipment to produce diagnostic-quality images for the detection of pathology and abnormalities
- Obtain patient consent, prepare patients for procedures, and provide clear explanations of imaging processes
- Perform CT and radiological exams in a freestanding emergency department setting
- Utilize Centricity (PACS System) and Meditech for image management and documentation
- Maintain compliance with safety and imaging protocols while working independently in a fast-paced environment
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited vocational or radiologic technology program
- Active ARRT-R (Radiography) certification required
- Active Radiologic Technologist / Radiographer (RT) licensure required
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required within 30 days of start date
- Minimum of 2 years of CT technologist experience
- Proficiency in Centricity PACS and Meditech documentation systems
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous travel assignment experience preferred
- Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and work comfortably and independently
- Demonstrated experience performing both CT and general radiology exams
