Job Title: CT Technologist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Cardiac CT Duration: 12 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (08:30 - 16:30 or 09:00 - 17:00) Experience: Minimum of 2 years as a Cardiac CT Technologist in a healthcare setting License: New York State license in Radiologic Technology Certifications: ARRT certification in Radiography Must-Have: Proficiency in performing cardiac CT imaging procedures and utilizing advanced imaging software and techniques Description: Conduct high-quality cardiac CT scans utilizing advanced imaging protocols and techniques to visualize the structure and function of the heart and blood vessels. Maintain and operate cardiac CT equipment, ensuring proper functionality and adherence to safety standards. Perform routine maintenance tasks and troubleshoot technical issues as needed. Accurately analyze and interpret cardiac CT images, identifying any abnormalities or anomalies that may require further evaluation or intervention. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive diagnostic assessments. Document all relevant patient information, imaging protocols, and procedural details accurately and comprehensively. Prepare detailed reports of cardiac CT findings for review by physicians and inclusion in patient medical records. Possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members. Demonstrate attention to detail and maintain accuracy in image acquisition, analysis, and documentation.
