Job Title: CT Technologist Profession: CT Technologist Specialty: Computed Tomography Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Saturday to Monday Hours per Shift: 12 hours, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Required Certifications: BLS Certification, Certified CT Technologist - ARRT (CT) Must-Have: - IV placement skills - Experience with GE Optima 660 equipment - Proficiency in EMR and PACS systems Description: The CT Technologist will perform inpatient, emergency department, and outpatient CT exams. The average number of scans/studies performed is 1-2 per hour. The candidate will be required to assist with IV starts during the day shift. The department has an available radiology supervisor and a lead technologist for guidance. Radiologists are on-site from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM and reachable by phone 24/7. The position involves being on call every Wednesday from 11:30 PM to 7:00 AM as needed. The department operates in a level 4 trauma care setting. A dedicated transporter is present Monday through Friday from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM. The cancellation policy allows for cancellation of up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment. The position does not require standing by or standby duties during the holiday.
