We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CT Technologist to join our diagnostic imaging team. The ideal candidate will perform high-quality CT examinations, ensure patient safety and comfort, and collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities
- Perform CT scans according to physician orders and departmental protocols.
- Prepare and position patients for CT procedures while ensuring comfort and safety.
- Operate CT imaging equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
- Administer contrast media as appropriate and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
- Maintain accurate patient records and document procedures in the EMR.
- Follow radiation safety guidelines and maintain compliance with regulatory standards.
- Perform routine quality assurance and equipment checks.
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure timely patient care.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized imaging environment.
Qualifications
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT):
- R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT)OR
- R.T. (R)(ARRT) – Required.
- Advanced CT Certification required in Oregon and Hawaii; preferred in California.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
- Venipuncture certification preferred in California and Oregon.
- Minimum 1–2 years of recent CT Technologist experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of CT imaging procedures, anatomy, radiation safety, and patient care.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills.
