Job Title: CT Technologist Profession: CT Technologist (Computed Tomography) Specialty: Multi Modality Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12 Hour Days with call Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Not required for submission Certifications: BLS Certification, Certified CT Technologist - ARRT (CT), Certified MRI Technologist - ARRT (MR), Certified Radiologic Technologist - ARRT (R) Must-Have: Trauma experience Description: The unit is seeking a multi-modality CT technologist with experience. The hiring process includes a profile review and an interview with the unit manager. Travelers must be within a 60-mile radius and submit necessary documentation. Clinicians must be available for the week of orientation even if the first-day modules are remote. A traveler radiology badge must be provided. The department performs CT, X-ray, and MRI imaging studies. Common imaging studies include traumatic cases. An average of 20 scans/studies is performed daily. The department uses EPIC and SYNAPSE for EMR and PACS. Department-specific equipment includes GE and Siemens technologies. The radiology supervisor oversees the unit. There may be opportunities to help with MRI duties. Radiology assistants may be utilized occasionally. Radiologists are in-house two days per week. Starting IVs is a requirement for this position. Weekend and holiday requirements are part of the scheduling. Responding to calls requires a 30-minute response time. The dress code includes black scrubs, which are not provided. The department offers specific orientation for new staff. The hospital reserves the right to cancel up to four shifts during a 13-week assignment.
