Job Title: CT Tech Profession: CT Tech Specialty: Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 10.5 Experience: Minimum 1 year with Trauma Experience License: TX Licensed Radiologist Certifications: ARRT (CT) Certified, BLS Must-Have: ARRT (CT), All ER CT-Trauma, CTA, Stroke Description: Unit highlights include a focus on trauma cases. Candidates must be ARRT (CT) certified. Position requires minimum one year of experience with trauma. The type of equipment used includes a GE 64 Slice scanner. Documentation is performed using Meditech. Floating may be required as needed. Dress code requires grey scrubs for CT Techs. Nail policy specifies clean and healthy appearance. Hair should be neat and clean with no extreme styles or colors. Beards, mustaches, and sideburns should be clean and neatly trimmed. Tattoos and body art should be covered whenever possible. Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited. Attendance policies and floating guidelines will be adhered to as per unit policies.
