Job Title: CT Technologist Profession: CT Technologist Specialty: CT (Computed Tomography) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 10-12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of CT experience License: Not required for submission Certifications: BLS (AHA) Certified CT Technologist - ARRT (CT) Certified Radiologic Technologist - ARRT (R) Must-Have: At least 2 years of CT experience Description: The position involves performing routine CT imaging, including head, chest, abdomen/pelvis, CTA head, CTA chest, and calcium scores. The average number of scans/studies performed per day is between 30-40. The department utilizes Synapse PACS and EPIC Clientnt for their electronic medical record systems. The department has two scanners available for use. There is a requirement for the individual to initiate IVs. There is a weekend work requirement, as well as holiday availability. Radiologists are present in-house. This position requires adherence to all department-specific protocols and procedures. Uniform requirement includes black scrubs; additional specifications are not provided. The cancellation policy allows for up to four shifts to be canceled during a 13-week assignment.
