4-10 s (7:30PM to 6AM), Monday-Thursday - No Weekends Experience with GE VCT and GE Revolution CT equipment Job Description: The CT Technologist performs diagnostic CT examinations and assists physicians with invasive CT procedures. Prepares examinations for interpretation, maintains radiation safety and assists with maintaining supplies. Performs and documents diagnostic CT examinations upon the order of an approved healthcare provider. Performs appropriate handoff and continuity of care communication to the next caregiver. Analyzes CT examinations for quality control purposes. Prepares completed examinations for interpretation by the radiologist. Operates all CT and related equipment. Operates all facility-based computer systems. Administers oral and intravenous contrast media under the direction of physician/per protocol. Transports, moves and positions patients in a safe and appropriate fashion. Assists physicians with special procedures involving the use of CT. Participates in quality assurance / quality control activities as related to CT. Job Qualifications: Associates degree in Radiologic Technology from an AMA approved school. Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) in radiography and CT. Maintains licensure requirements with the state of Ohio. Maintains annual CPR certification/When Seconds Count certification. Two years minimum experience in a diagnostic imaging setting preferred. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally (Occasionally: activity or condition exists up to 1/3 of the time) and/or a negligible amount of force frequently (Frequently: activity or condition exists from 1/3 to 2/3 of the time) to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary Work involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
