Job Title: CT Tech Profession: CT Tech Specialty: Radiology Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 11:00 AM - 11:30 PM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years in a hospital setting License: VA License/Compact Certifications: CPR, ARRT, ARRT-CT Must-Have: - 2 years of experience in a hospital setting - Ability to work independently and cover both CT and X-ray - Professional, friendly, and good communication skills Description: MUST HAVE 2 YEARS EXPERIENCE IN HOSPITAL SETTING MUST HAVE VA LICENSE/COMPACT Unit specifics: - 12 bed freestanding emergency room with a 7 vertical fast track area - Patient ratios: 4-8 patients for nursing - Average of 80 patients per day, with volume exceeding 100 during peak winter surge periods - Staffing includes unit secretaries and tech availability Equipment: - GE Optima CT scanner - GE portable x-ray Documentation system: - Meditech - Sectra Scheduling: - Varies, 36 hours per week - Weekends and holiday rotation required - No on-call duties Patient experience: - Our patients are our priority.
