Job Title: CT Technologist Profession: CT Technologist Specialty: CT Technologist Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year preferred License: Current CRT required Certifications: ARRT-R required; Current BCLS (AHA) required Must-Have: Familiarity with State and Federal regulations; Fluoroscopy permit to be obtained within 6 months of hire; Venipuncture certificate to be obtained within 3 months of hire Description: CT Tech position requires someone to start as soon as possible. Must have a current CRT. Must obtain a fluoroscopy permit within 6 months of hire. Must obtain a venipuncture certificate within 3 months of hire. ARRT-R certification is required. Familiarity with State and Federal regulations is necessary. Current BCLS (AHA) certification is required. Graduate of a program accredited by JRCERT or ABHES is required. At least one year of experience as a Radiology Technologist is preferred. Proficient computer skills are necessary. Performs diagnostic radiographic procedures according to department protocols and regulations. Functions as the first line interface with customers to meet their imaging needs. Participates in performance improvement and quality control activities. Responsible for the processing and transmission of images to PACS.
