ABOUT THE POSITION

We are looking for highly motivated candidates to apply to join our Travel department in an entry-level position as Travel Coordinator. The candidate must be able to provide premium service to our member community of high-net-worth families and individuals. The Travel Coordinator will work with the entire Travel department to ensure itineraries are planned and executed perfectly. This employee will report to the Senior Director, Travel & Hospitality.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Consult with members on travel-related requests and full itinerary planning

  • Stay current on new travel industry trends

  • Network within the travel industry

  • Reconfirm all aspects of trip itineraries, no matter how big or small

  • Attend conferences (as scheduled by Head of Travel)

  • Create destination guides and itineraries

  • Assist with logistical requests separate from trip itineraries

  • Propose creative solutions for last-minute problems or questions

  • Obtain information and pertinent travel details from members and/or their assistants, as necessary

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Interest in travel planning and the travel industry

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • High level of organizational skills

  • Proficient computer skills

  • Willingness to learn

SALARY RANGE + BENEFITS 

Salary Range: $55,000 - $65,000   

After 90 days of employment, employees are eligible for: 

  • Company-paid medical and dental benefits 

  • Company-matched 401(k) - Four Hundred matches 100% of the first 1% of elective contributions and 50% of the next 5%. 

  • Paid time off (per year): 

  • 12 vacation days 

  • 10 bank holidays 

  • 6 sick days 

  • $75 per month stipend towards phone bill coverage 

After first year of employment, employees are eligible for: 

  • Annual incentive bonus, 3% of annual base salary
