Connected Health Care is seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a local travel contract opportunity in Fargo, ND. Job Description
- Provide respiratory therapy services to pediatric patients (primarily ages 815, occasional younger patients)
- Assess, treat, and monitor patients with respiratory conditions
- Manage and maintain tracheostomy care (trachs) with confidence and expertise
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Respond to respiratory emergencies in a 24/7 care setting
- Document treatments and patient progress accurately and timely
- Educate patients and caregivers on respiratory care plans and equipment
Education & Certification Requirements
- Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
- Current state licensure as an RRT in North Dakota
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required (ACLS/PALS preferred)
- Minimum of 12 years of clinical respiratory therapy experience
- Prior travel experience required
- Demonstrated experience working with pediatric populations (infant to teen)
- Must have hands-on experience and comfort with tracheostomy care
