Connected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing firm specializing in healthcare placements nationwide, is currently seeking a Travel Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) for an exciting opportunity in North Texas (Sherman/Muenster area). Position: Travel Medical Surgical RN (Med Surg)
Location: North Texas Sherman / Muenster area
Setting: Critical Access Hospital
Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (Days or Nights available)
Hours: 36 hours guaranteed weekly
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Compensation: Up to $2,100/week (based on experience and stipends)
Provide direct patient care to adult and geriatric populations in a Med Surg setting
Perform patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and evaluate patient progress
Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR systems
Respond effectively in urgent and emergent situations
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Texas or Compact State)
BLS (Basic Life Support) Required
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) Preferred
Minimum 12 years of recent Med Surg experience
Previous travel experience preferred but not required
Strong clinical, communication, and critical thinking skills
