This position is located within a long-term care (LTC) facility committed to providing compassionate, resident-centered care.
This is a 13-week travel assignment with the opportunity to convert into a permanent position, making it ideal for nurses looking to explore a new facility while securing long-term career stability.
Position Details
Position: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Location: Near Linn, KS
Setting: Long-Term Care / Skilled Nursing
Schedule: Night Shift
Hours: 3x12-hour shifts (36 hours guaranteed weekly)
Contract Length: 13 Weeks with Opportunity for Permanent Placement
Compensation: Up to $1,500 per week
Job Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care to residents in a long-term care setting
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
Monitor and record patient conditions, vital signs, and responses to treatment
Collaborate with Registered Nurses and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans
Assist with wound care, IV therapy (where applicable), and other clinical procedures
Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
Provide compassionate support and education to residents and their families
Ensure compliance with facility policies, infection control standards, and state regulations
Education & Certification Requirements
Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Kansas (or compact license if applicable)
Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program
Current BLS Certification required
Previous Long-Term Care, Skilled Nursing, or Geriatric experience preferred
Strong communication, organizational, and clinical assessment skills
