Connected Health Care is seeking a Local Travel Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a 13-week contract opportunity with one of our trusted healthcare partners in Butte, MT. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled COTA with Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) experience looking to maximize earnings while working in a supportive clinical environment.

Position Overview Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide high-quality rehabilitative services in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting. This role focuses on helping patients regain independence and improve functional mobility, strength, and daily living skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy treatments to patients in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)
- Implement treatment plans developed by the supervising Occupational Therapist
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Educate patients and families on therapeutic exercises and adaptive techniques
- Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations
- Maintain a safe and supportive rehabilitation environment
- Active Montana Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) License
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification
- Recent Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) experience
- Associates Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) Certification
- Active Montana COTA License in good standing
- Current BLS Certification through AHA or equivalent
