We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join the Inpatient Surgery team at a Level II Trauma Center. The Surgical Tech will assist surgeons, nurses, and anesthesia providers by preparing the operating room, maintaining a sterile field, and ensuring procedures run efficiently. Candidates may be required to float to the outpatient Same Day Surgery Center as needed.
Responsibilities- Prepare operating rooms and sterile instruments for surgical procedures.
- Maintain sterile technique throughout surgeries.
- Pass instruments and supplies to the surgical team.
- Perform instrument, sponge, and needle counts.
- Assist with patient positioning and specimen handling.
- Ensure surgical equipment is clean, sterile, and functioning properly.
- Float to the outpatient Same Day Surgery Center when needed.
