Certified Surgical First AssistantProvides assistance to the primary (main) surgeon during a surgical procedure. Provides exposure, hemostasis, tying or sewing, plus other functions as determined by the primary surgeon responsible for the patient/procedure. Works with team in operating room to ensure patient receives quality care. Maintains responsibility for accurately and responsively performing routine assigned clinical tasks of limited complexity.
