Job Title: CVOR Tech Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: CVOR Tech Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: 5+ years total CST experience, 2+ years in cardiac & vascular, 1 year CVOR experience, 1 year in a trauma facility License: Required Certifications: BLS Must-Have: Scrub experience Experience with cardiovascular/thoracic instrument reprocessing Description: Certified Surgical Tech (CVOR) Scrub required. First-time travelers accepted. Locals accepted. Shift duration is 4x10 hours. Must be flexible with weekend rotation. Call required. Ideal candidates will have experience with general OR, thoracic, vascular, and CVOR procedures including CABG, EVAR, TEVAR, and valve replacement. Aseptic technique is essential. Candidates should have experience with crash carts, scrubbing, and circulating. Experience with EPIC charting system is preferred. Strongly preferred skills include abdominal aortic aneurysm repair, angioplasty, and open/laparoscopic cases. Thorough understanding of high-level disinfection and standard safety protocols is necessary. Candidates must be able to handle specimens appropriately and follow proper labeling procedures. Commitment to patient safety and quality care is essential.
