Job Title: CVOR Technician Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: CVOR Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 5x8 (06:00 - 14:30) Experience: 5 years License: Wisconsin/compact license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, CST, NBSTSA Must-Have: First-time travelers not accepted. Prior travel experience required. Local candidates accepted at a lower rate. Description: The position requires an experienced CVOR Certified Surgical Technician who can handle heavy call requirements. The call range is 30 minutes, with 2 CVOR Certified Surgical Technicians, a First Assistant, and 2 CVOR RNs available on call daily, weekends, and holidays. Experience in CVOR, general OR, and trauma is mandatory. Candidates must not have a history of latex allergies as accommodations cannot be provided. Clinical responsibilities include performing complex surgical procedures such as Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm repair, Angioplasty, Aortic Aneurysm repair, and others. Candidates should be proficient in operating in both hybrid and general OR settings. Epic charting system experience is required. Preferred qualifications include previous charge experience and familiarity with patient ratios. The job involves care for adult and geriatric patient populations. Travel pairs are accepted, and modules are non-billable if completed within the first 8 hours of the role. Two supervisor references are required after an offer is made. Background checks will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
