Job Title: CVOR CST Profession: CST/ORT Specialty: OR Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of current acute care CVOR Tech hospital experience License: BLS, DORA and NBSTA Certifications must be in hand Certifications: BLS, DORA, NBSTA Must-Have: Candidates must have a minimum of 1-year current acute care CVOR Tech hospital experience. BLS, DORA and NBSTA Certifications must be in hand. Candidates must be proficient in open heart experience. Description: We are seeking a CVOR CST for a travel assignment. This role will involve working as part of a team of 3 during the day shift, consisting of 2 RNs and 1 CST Tech. Night shift teams will consist of 1 RN and 1 CST Tech. Patient ratios are 1:1 to ensure optimal care. The unit performs various procedures including CABG, AAA, TAVR, and valve replacements. Proficiency in Meditech is preferred, along with prior experience traveling as a CVOR Tech in large trauma facilities. Candidates should be flexible, confident, and team-oriented, with a strong focus on patient experience and communication with staff and providers. Call requirements will vary based on need and staffing and will be discussed during the interview. There are no weekend shifts required for this position.
