Responsibilities
  • Prepare operating rooms and sterile fields for cardiovascular surgical procedures.
  • Assist surgeons and nursing staff during cardiac, vascular, thoracic, and related surgical cases.
  • Pass instruments, supplies, and equipment efficiently during procedures.
  • Maintain strict sterile technique and infection prevention standards.
  • Anticipate surgeon needs and ensure seamless procedural flow.
  • Assist with patient positioning, equipment setup, and room turnover.
  • Support robotic-assisted cardiovascular procedures when required.
  • Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, and surgical teams.
  • Ensure all surgical instruments and supplies are available and functioning properly.
  • Adhere to hospital policies, patient safety standards, and evidence-based surgical practices.
