Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms and sterile fields for cardiovascular surgical procedures.
- Assist surgeons and nursing staff during cardiac, vascular, thoracic, and related surgical cases.
- Pass instruments, supplies, and equipment efficiently during procedures.
- Maintain strict sterile technique and infection prevention standards.
- Anticipate surgeon needs and ensure seamless procedural flow.
- Assist with patient positioning, equipment setup, and room turnover.
- Support robotic-assisted cardiovascular procedures when required.
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, and surgical teams.
- Ensure all surgical instruments and supplies are available and functioning properly.
- Adhere to hospital policies, patient safety standards, and evidence-based surgical practices.
