Job Title: CVOR Tech Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: CVOR Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Pending license not accepted Certifications: BLS, CST, NBSTSA Must-Have: - Certificate from NBSTSA - CSTAHA BLS required Description: Candidate must have a valid certificate from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting. BLS certification is required. The position involves on-call duties, requiring availability for at least two days of call each week and 1-2 weekends every six-week schedule, depending on the facility’s needs. The schedule is 4x10 days. Candidates will start three weeks after signing the contract. This position accepts local candidates within a specified radius. All requested time off must be included during the initial submission. Approval will be based on the facility's needs. The facility allows call-off for one shift every two weeks. Experience in various surgical procedures is required. The average daily census includes three cardiac cases. All travelers are expected to be flexible and may be required to float to other units as necessary. Staffing adjustments may occur based on census changes. Additional skills checklist may apply for candidate assessment. Compensation details and reimbursement policies are not included. This position may be required to complete pre-assignment testing and modules within 48 hours of contract initiation. EMR experience is required. This position will engage in various cardiovascular procedures.
