Job Title: CVOR Tech Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: CVOR Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Must be in hand prior to start date Certifications: BCLS, NBSTSAS Must-Have: Required to float to General OR Description: Position: CVOR CST First-time travelers accepted. Skillset requirements include scrub experience. Unit performs all surgical specialties excluding transplants in a 13-room operating room. Special equipment includes 2 Xi DaVinci Robots. The unit requires travelers to be comfortable floating to general cases. Daily census data and patient diagnoses information available upon request. Interdisciplinary support includes various services for patient care. Travelers must have experience in abdominal aortic aneurysm repair, various surgical procedures, and the use of specialized surgical equipment. Required scrubbing experience includes high-level disinfectant procedures and sterilization techniques. Travelers must have a working knowledge of the da Vinci Xi Surgical System, cardiothoracic robotic surgery, and many other surgical procedures. Mandatory skills include case cart management, instrument processing, and aseptic technique. Job involves collaboration with other healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient care and outcomes.
